According to research presented on the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions in November 2019, individuals with heart disease even have the next risk of developing cancer.
Researchers analyzed data from the Framingham Heart Study on 12,712 individuals who didn’t have heart disease or cancer firstly of the study. They used a risk estimator that predicts an individual's probability of developing heart disease inside 10 years.
