Seven to nine hours of sleep per night is usually considered a healthy amount. But sometimes people sleep too little, after which attempt to sleep greater than usual. Researchers collected health questionnaires from nearly 36,000 adults of their 50s. The information included the typical variety of hours slept on weekdays and weekends.
